One of my other favourites would definitely be the The intro track, "Choose Your Weapon" That was really fun putting that together 'Cause that was I don't know, it all started because of a keyboard that uhm, Simon bought That just does that sound at the start of the record It's just like a in-built sort of feature But you can just do that crazy sweep thing And as soon as he sort of got it and he just discovered that We were just in the studio together and he did it And I was just like, "Woah" And then we kind of like, "We should start the record like that" I mean it's kind of like a total like Dolby THX ripoff Like definitely not done as well as Dolby But it's just our little sort of like Kind of homage to that sort of moment You know what I mean? It's like you're turning the machine on and it's like coming to life And you just know, you have that feeling like some shit's gonna go down And I don't know, it's an interesting track 'Cause it's just made out of just so many little pieces And, and we sort of It's something that we all kind of threw, composed together over time Like just getting from, you know, that sort of the machine turning on And then going to this sort of magical world and this little playful world With like the kids toys sort of saying all the different animals and everything And then into that really like, dirty groove and all that Those drums from a totally different session So just sort of like, we all It sort of almost builds itself over time From all these like things that we'd collected, you know? It's almost like a kind of strange summary of like Almost like an overture without playing any of the things It's like we're just These are all the places that we're gonna go, you know, like We're gonna go into this video game We're gonna go into like, you know, into this magic cloud And we're gonna There's gonna be some bits that are actually kind of funny And there's gonna be some heavy grooves and it's just, yeah Uh, I like it kinda sums up everybody's flavour and there's a lot of A lot of playfulness about like the way we put it together, you know? A lot of loose sort of creative sessions, sort of composing that thing So yeah, I love that one
