Biography

Emilia Anastazja is a vocalist and songwriter from Switzerland, currently based between London and Basel. Influenced by an eclectic mix of artists such as Mary J. Blige, Corinne Bailey Rae, Cleo Sol and H.E.R., Emilia blends jazz, alternative-pop, and R&B together, creating her own sound. Emilia grew up in a family of musicians with her mother and two sisters, with whom she sang and made music at a young age. At 15 she started writing her first songs and released her first EP "The One" in 2014. She continued to develop her style and recorded her self-produced debut album "Blue", which was released in 2019 and received huge media attention. In the same year, in collaboration with Swiss Producer Audio Dope, she released her most popular song: "Unconditional" which, including the official remix, has almost two million plays on Spotify alone. Emilia continues to collaborate with different artists, among others she can be heard on the recent album "The Voice" by US rapper Lil Durk and wrote and sang on the recently released song "Noa Noa" by London producer Hemai. Her songs and collaborations have brought her groundbreaking success in recent years, including airplay on BBC Radio 1Xtra and BBC 6Music. In late 2021, she released her new EP "Flower House", a colorful mix of 90s R&B and bubbly electro-pop, co-produced with Rico Baumann. Today, Emilia is working between London and Basel on her upcoming EP.
