As I walk, trudging further in this darkness
My eyes blind as I feel my way through
I reach a precipice where a glow shines faintly below
A chasm where the air grows thinner and cold
Feverishly I rush forward
Propelled by desperation
The glow grows brighter
As the chasm reveals itself to me
I feel a presence unlike any that I've felt before
It's drawing closer
I stumble further away from reprieve
The Nothing calls out my name
Beckoning my soul to release
I can't escape this misery
Evermore I search for egress
The darkness is all consuming
But towards the light I race

A life free from this realm?

Lost and unbound
Towards this civilization I guide myself

This city within the Cavern
Radiating hues!
Everlasting phosphorescent glow!
I am drawn within
Prosperity transmuting into decadence
I am perturbed by disturbing architecture
Passing through the city as a means of escape
An abandoned, desolate place, it's society laid to waste
The dwellers had met their end here!
Oh could it be from this presence that is stalking me?!
"No!" I cry, "This cannot be!"
