Mindless I am Trapped in a prison, not of my own flesh The metal walls puncture deep into the skin Bones are pulverized and wrapped in frigid steel Mortality siphons out in crimson streams Backed against the wall, my rotting body cries This prison swallows my essence In this state of deformity, I am not my own Left to rot away in grime Manifestations of my misdeeds dissolve Atoning for my sins, I scream with no voice Poetic irony as the metal pulverizes me Unconscious, yet I feel the searing pain My soul embeds itself into a lifeless shell Putrefaction, stench my only trace Shrouded in steel, my being defies death Enzymes leak out at my feet Metal affixed to my skull Reduced to rust and steel Corporeal shell devours my soul Mortality siphons out in crimson tears Hidden from the world, my broken body decays This coffin swallows my humanity In this state of disgust, I am mortally entombed
