Biography
Lisa Brokop began her career as a young girl in Surrey BC and with more than 30 years in the biz, has nine albums to her credit and over 30 top 20 radio charting singles. She has been recognized with a series of Canadian Country Music Awards, including two nods for Independent Song of the Year for "Something Undeniable" and "I'd Like to See You Try" and three consecutive wins for Independent Female Artist of the Year. Aside from being a writer on many of her hit songs, Lisa has penned songs for other artists including Reba McEntire, Terri Clark and Pam Tillis. Since 2016 Lisa has had a busy touring schedule with her hit show ‘The Patsy Cline Project’ and also, ‘Legendary Ladies of Country’. Lisa has returned to radio with “Is It Me and You” written by multi talented producer/songwriter Harley Hatcher. Harley’s career spans over five decades as a record company executive producer and BMI award-winning songwriter. He is a producer and writer of more than 80 songs that are featured in motion pictures and television shows such as his composition of “Victorville blues” featured in Quentin Tarantino‘s most recent film Once Upon a Time…In Hollywood. Harley and Lisa recently crossed paths in Nashville. Harley had always been a fan of Lisa‘s wide ranging vocal abilities and wrote “Is it me and You” especially for her. This new release might be one of Lisa‘s most soulful recordings yet!
