Well now I'm feeling kinda tired guess I'll show myself out I think the door to leave is on the other side of the house Get my boots back on my feet and now Im ready to go Leave the mess that I've created they deserve to do some cleaning Now I'm peacing out sneak around, getting outside In a minute now out of town yeah I'll be alright Make a left turn living room not what I need I see a beam of light projecting Through a window maybe that's what I need What kind of psycho glues the windows shut inside his own house Why can't I make a clean escape like in the movies I found I'm Trying to book it to the exit but a trap has been set I'd really rather not set it off and do this again So right turn cut through the kitchen and down Into the cold, dark barely finished basement I found But there's darkness all around I got a feeling That I'll make my getaway wheeling and dealing today A set of several doors I see a light through the crack As my eyes they are adjusting see I'm not looking back Pushing up on the doors I feel the wooden boards Adrenaline's racing giving my body more So I bust out and break through what's holding me back I run out to the car the engine started it back I driving forward on the run look back to see what I've done Now I'm coming home all they want is promises to thank the sun
