I read in the good old Bible
What this world would be today
I read about the famine and pestilence
That would overtake the world one day
I read about the earthquakes
That would shake many city walls
I read about the fire and the brimstone
And the coming of the Lord

That's how it is today

Few find time to pray

I read about the man called Noah
Who build himself an Ark
For a hundred and twenty years
He warned of the coming of the flood
People did a laugh
They didn't believe a word he said
But when the rain came tumbling down.
They all were washed away.

All these are the beginning of sorrows
We all should take a lesson
From the prophecies of old
Take time to read your Bible
The truth has all been told
The Lord of hosts has promised
His coming in the by-and-by
And the saints of God shall be with Him
At the mansion in the sky
