Biography

Ill Seer is Toronto area based Rapper aka Rev. Dr. Cyril Guerette, performing on international stages since 1995 with The Chevrons. Partnering with Drew Brown, he won "Rap Song of the Year" at the 40th Annual Covenant Awards for the Gospel Music Association of Canada. He began recording with the Delegates of Culture (Inja, Skuff, Bee109, Stakka Lyrics, Toeman, Axwax, Prolific, Ninko, and Chris Groove) in 1999, an underground hiphop crew based out of Cambridge, UK. He is now a pastor and university professor, and founder of the music label Prophetic Poetic, a moniker which he also records under. He has performed and recorded with many great artists including Jon Corbin, Shad, Eternia, Relic, Elias, and many others. He has appeared in major media outlets including the Toronto Star, Toronto Sun, 100 Huntley St., 700 Club Canada, CBC Radio, NewsTalk 1010, and others.
