There's an analogy that kinda came to mind It's like building sand castles on the beach There's like this ebb and flow in our lives It's not just with our craft But whatever it is that we're passionate about But just everything in our lives You're tryin' to build some idea But the tide comes in inevitably, knocks it down The first time that you build something you're really proud of And it gets knocked down, it's like soul-crushing, you know? Um, some people rush out, they like run away from the waves And they never come back, you know? And then you also see people who see the waves comin' in And they're just havin' fun, splashing around in the water They're— they're immersing themselves in that moment too Like that's actually kinda like the beauty In the cyclical nature of our lives Is that you can start over It's expected, actually From a certain perspective If you accept that nothing's permanent, you know? Including who you are
