So, was a great, with a great deal of curiosity
Uh, surprised and excitement that I discovered that
The kilts were much more than this mad collection of anacus
From Scotland, Ireland and Wales, but
With this smartly collection of tribes
That emanated from middle and eastern Europe
As far back as 500BC
And over the course of centuries, some of these tribes moved
Through northern Europe, through Germany, and Switzerland
Others through Italy, Spain and France, Portugal
And it finally ended in the western margins of Europe
Which we now refer to as Ireland, Scotland and Wales
And of course, this migration occurred with a great deal of encouragement
From the Romans, you might say
They had ways, they had ways
So, this piece was, uh
Inspired by the reflection of some of those earlier Mediterranean Persian elements
