Once I knew a bear
A large and grizzly bear
With the sharpest of teeth
And the largest of claws
He was not a friendly bear
His animal friends got up and said
"Your kind ain't welcome round here"
And he let out a roar and tore off their heads
With a sniff and a snarl he said

The empire you built up, so what?!"
Once I knew an owl
A wise and pompous owl
Who said he could see the future to be
At every sinner he scowled
He'd sing and he'd caw and he'd flap his tiny wings
Hoping to change their ways
He'd hit and he'd scream 'bout those lesser than he
But they never could foresee
