In the summer of 1997 I experienced God in a way that forever changed me The glory of God invaded our church on a Sunday Evening at 6PM and the entire congregation of About a thousand people fell on their faces No one instructed them to or suggested they get on their faces There was just no other appropriate response to Take when the glory swept into the room I remember crawling under the piano, being wrecked by God When I finally got up on all fours, I looked at my Watch in disbelief that it was now, that is now 11:30PM Four and a half hours later - felt like twenty minutes And my heart was completely shifted as I realized There was more of God than I ever knew was available This moment marked me It was the high watermark of all that I'd ever experienced It became the lens that I looked through to measure Everything else I would ever know about the presence of God My spirit knew immediately that everything changed But it took my mind years to process what had Happened and at times I still search for words to adequately describe my encounter And some twenty years later, I hear the voice of God, speaking about a coming wave of His glory There is a move of God unlike anything the world Has ever seen and it's swiftly approaching The Spirit of God is brooding over the face of the Earth, waiting for a place to welcome and host what He intends to do in the Earth Many of our churches do not have the time in their Services for the glory that's coming But there is a generation of people, waking up with An insatiable hunger for the more of God They'll recklessly abandon everything they've Known in their tidy-produced church services The glory of Eden is breaking through The original intent of fellowship with God and man restored It's a place in His presence where few will dare to go Who's with me? I can't stay here anymore
