As we neared the end of the recording session in Ibiza on this album
We really desperately wanted to put something more jam-like in there
We're listening to a lot of Chaka Khan, and uh funk, uhm
And so the approach we did with this track was to literally be on instruments
Playing live and just recording stuff down to see what we got from it
Kinda like free fall with this one
And you can hear it in the track
'Cause the timing's slight moving around a little bit more
We kept a lot of what we put down fresh in Ibiza, we just kept it where it was
And when we got to New York
When we were mixing we'd over dubbed a few things to perfect it
And it's just got so much spirit in this track, it's what albums need to have
