Same heartache seems to never go away

Or curl up and hide away
"How can I laugh tomorrow when I can't even smile today?"
That's what I heard you say, your words they have no hope.
It's the only life you know so you think that's how it goes.
That's what you were told BUT somebody lied to you
Cause The God I know says He can make ALL THINGS NEW!
This is true, release your past so you can start living.

He promises do not fear for I am with you
So hold on to His words cause next comes the breakthrough
You'll get the strength to overcome your pain and sorrow
The darkest night is a bridge for tomorrow
So follow the only one who can bring salvation
And although we are sinners in Christ is a new creation
It's about relationship not religion. True

Now it's a fact I'm not exactly who I want to be
But honestly I'm blessed I'm not who I used to be
Cause I used to be a no good this and that
Matter fact I'll take that back, why even bring up my past
The last time I checked it said I was born again
Meaning I died in sin, raised from the dead now I'm back again
A new day begins and I'm moving forward
I thought it was the end but He said, "It's not over"
So I moved over and gave The Lord control
I let it all go and now my cup just overflows
All I know is that I'm underserving of Your love
It's a blessing cause I know the best is yet to come
