Heavenly Father, in Jesus name I pray
I thank You Lord for letting me see another day
Its only by Your grace that I'm saved
'Cause I was running with the devil with one foot in the grave
You kicked the path that leads out of harms way
Your words a light to my feet so I dont go astray
You say "Trust in Me, I'll never leave or forsake you,
Onto the Holy of Holys, is where I will take you"
But today was a battle 'cause the devil tried to hold me again
He said he wanted to be my friend but he really wants me back in sin
I can't give in and go back to my evil ways
Lord I need You more today, than I did yesterday
So I pray and I know You'll hear my cry
'Cause no prayer goes unheard so victory shall be mine
But sometimes it gets hard and only You make me strong
I know You'll never let me fall so I keep Holding on
O'Lord I know you're with me but sometimes I feel alone
Where's my family and friends I'm here with people I don't know
Well I will raise you into a leader, just keep your eyes on me
Your loved ones will then follow, just you wait & see
Believe in Me and let Me change your heart
My shine will be a light threw you for those in the dark
But what about my boys, I left them in the battle field
Well I called you to another battle, so pick up your shield
And your sword, head out to war
Go win those lost souls that the devil stole
Well show me Your way and tell me what I shall do
I will pick up my cross and I will follow You. TRUE!
This walk ain't easy, its really a fight
Some of the world comes against me when I say I follow Christ
And I remember my life, and how I was blind
I was in the dark 'till You opened my eyes
I realize that its hard, so many have come and gone
But I died for you My son so keep holding on
I go up before You Lord and lift up the congregation
And those of God alter now a generation
Ain't no time to be wasting 'cause the devil's on attack
That's when we strike back, until the enemy can't
We'll win strapped with My blood into the devils zone
I'm raising up soldiers in the men & women's home
You've shown us the way, now give us the wisdom
And put a hedge of protection around the street of vandalisum
We're in the front line, thats what vale is all about
So the devil's always hitting trying to take us out
He wants to steal, kill, and destroy all our dreams
So we put on your armor and stand against the devils schemes
Choose the foolish things like us who where heartless
You lifted us up and made us treasures out of darkness
You trial us of our sins that we've done
God still gave His only, begotten son
So when your name Lord, is how we'll take the world
Bless the gangsters for Christ and all the gang girls
And all the other ministries in our church
Its only by Your strength that we finish the work
'Cause united we can fufill Our Fathers plan
Working hard together with the lives in God's hands
