When I think of the price Jesus paid for me, I'm reminded of that endless love displayed at Calvary, And how He bled and died to forgive and wash me clean, Now He lives within my heart since I believed. I don't understand how He could care so much for me, To bear the pain and the sorrow of Calvary's tree, But He loved my wicked soul enough to set me free, And when I called on Him, He heard my simple plea. How could I neglect to serve my Saviour, When He's given me so much to live for, Now I want to see others come to know Him, So I can lay a crown before my Lord. I don't understand how He could care so much for me, To bear the pain and the sorrow of Calvary's tree, But He loved my wicked soul enough to set me free, And when I called on Him, He heard my simple plea.
