Been livin' in a hotel lobby most my life. Never owned more than I could carry and that's alright. Did what I wanted to do. So I sing these words that are true because I'm proud of what I do, and I thank God I am part of the lucky few who have purpose. I've had good times here, how much they mean to me you'll never know. I wouldn't trade any of my memories, but I got to hit the road. I want to live the perfect life with a house, two kids and a very, very lovely wife. All it takes is your faith in me, and my faith in you it grows greater when you set me free. Better than love is a little bit of respect and knowing when, to let it go. Someday, baby, when I return, I'll let you buy my story, tell you what I've learned . .
