Everything good gift that we receive
Comes from heaven above
From a generous God who loves to give
And He gives His gifts with love
He's the perfect father
Who gave his perfect son
He's the God who loves to show his love for everyone
So we say...
Thank you, God for the animals and trees
For the rivers and the oceans
And the summer breeze
Thank you, God for families
For the parties and the picnics and the afternoon teas
Thank you, God for lollies
And for giving me a good toothbrush
And Thanks for Jesus, the Saviour, and the King
Who by your grace you've given to us
Thank you, God for teachers and schools
For textas and pencils and pens
For a mouth to talk and feet to walk
For good games and great friends
And thank you God for dancing
For soccer and basketball
For chocolate, for houses, computers, and for toys
But for Jesus most of all
So we say
