Remember how we used to dream of a future, of today? Where cars could fly, Homes in the sky, Moonshots of a world changed. Today was much better then, So futuristic, so prime. Instead we live a future primitive. Damn our chastity of mind! Still hooked on: Hatred, the violence, racism, the silence, division No surprise, we dreamt lies. Be certain, this wasn't the vision. If not the vision then why? Was this your world? Was this my world? 'Cause this is our world. So then why? Hate controls us. But how did that control bind? Is this the kind of place that we wanted? Is this what we had in mind? Was this your world? Was this my world? 'Cause this is our world. So then why? It's not what we wanted. It's not what we wanted. It's not what we wanted. It's not what we wanted! Change is pain, but loosens chains. And words alone keep things the same. So let's keep action fueled by rage, 'Cause futures are conceived today. But only if we try. That damned chastity of mind.
