I was at a place, not so long ago
Well, it showed some information of my records, too
I had to wait about 40 minutes or more
To listen to the record I was asking for
I'd better do something, just to spend the time
I went to the coffee house and made some rhymes
The cash box lady must've had a bad day
When I ordered cup of coffee, you could hear her say
"You can't have this cup, you've gotta order bread"
"Bread to the coffee, you heard what I said"
And I went mad and said "please talk kind"
"Don't shout at me just because you have a bad mouth"
I ordered a cake, cup of coffee, too
It happened a day, not so long ago

I wonder why people behave that bad
The cash box lady really made me sad
She really could've told me in a gentle voice
'Cause I was pretty gentle and I made no noise
Maybe she's married to a mean, mean man
In that case it's possible to understand
