Dreary daze, memories behind the haze
I don't see much of this maze, but I won't complain these days
Hoppin' in the phase, eyes are wide open and blazed
You can see it on my face, I'm only chillin' today
In the night, I'm just writing, got the moon over my shoulder
Makin' fresh fiji moonwater, leave it out and make it colder
And some people are the boulder that I'm trying to move
Get in the groove, feelin' loose, takin' pics in the booth
While drinking booze, hoping one day everybody will get it
Just put it on neutral and stop being so petty
And when you're ready we can finally go out
Don't wanna shout, be too loud
But I deeply hate what people are about lately
Nobody is friendly, wannabes of what they can't be
Toxic things trending, every single day just getting closer to the end screen
Wanting to end things they never truly feel like ending
It's overwhelming, how all of them are feeling blue
But would never be the first to ask the question "How are you?"
And I've been there, prolly will be in the future too
But for now - that is not the thing I choose
Really proud to say it's been months since I tied a noose
I haven't watched the news so I wouldn't get a mental bruise
There is just no point, everything's too polarized
So anything you watch is propaganda in disguise
