So, in the midst of this amazing stretch of time
A new show had opened on Broadway
By a new composer named Lin-Manuel Miranda
And it was called 'In the Heights'
I was blown away by this richness to the story
And, and the music, and I felt like I needed to be a part of it
So I got an audition and I got cast as Nina Rosario in the first national tour
It was incredible, the cast on tour was this big, beautiful family
But I felt like this role could be my chance to finally make my Broadway debut
So even though I loved the tour, I left
My logic was that if the role became available on Broadway
And if I was available to do it
Then I might be next in line and might have a chance
So I leave the show and two days later
I find out that the Broadway show is closing
