Lighter than air
Laid down and picked apart
Let me disappear
With this world I need to part
I have difficulties
Getting used to my presence

Bright burning flares
Bathe me in lucid art
Away from the stare

Behind this thick, wet snow, somewhere to just let go, high up there!
Absorbed!
Release me to sky, a peace awaits my eyes. Have no fear!

I recall a torrent of lights in pouring rain
And the ghost I used to be, like a soft sigh
Let out by the street, and it overwhelms me
I am never unchained from the elemental

I keep on piling up these things on me
So strange, since I can't recall to have agreed to that
It's that time of year again
When the rain comes down hard
And the ground boils the water
For us to drink the mist
And I am a quiet drinker
Who yet again refract the light
Of my memory
And summons up the dark parts
But looking now
At these endless repeats,
At this night around me
I no longer find release
And in a new, soft half-light
It's possible to make out
A world that ripples
That rings
Lighter than air, I love you all
