MERCY, FORGIVENESS AND GRACE

I misbehaved just like a kid,
I thought my life was ruined by the wrong I did
I caused the tears and I broke some hearts,
I hit the bottom and I wondered where to start
To make a mend with my family and friends,
I was ashamed to ask the Lord for help again
But He came in mercy, forgiveness and grace
Jesus helped me put the pieces back in place
When I cried out Lord I have sinned,
He welcomed me back home again
When I felt like I was drowned in my disgrace
Jesus gave me mercy, forgiveness and grace.
There's no guilt no shame no looking back
I'll simply do my best to keep myself on track
Oh, but even so it's not enough
Because soon the storms of life will be too rough
But when the storm is gone and I face the brand new day
With joy I will lift my voice and sing
