We sailed the stormy seas, to search for the gold,
And all of the wealth the sultan controlled,
We knew he was waiting to fight us.
A sea serpent caught us, and tore us apart,
I sliced it in pieces to serve à la carte,
A battle we knew would delight us.
Oh what a life, what a lovely life!

I rode the waves upon the back of a shark,
And glided to shore before it was dark,
To chase down the soldiers with pleasure.
We stole from the sultan while he took a snooze,
I laughed at his soldiers who shook in their shoes,
While I counted up all of our treasure.

The sultan woke up as we sang through the night,
And danced on his bed which glittered so bright,
With treasure that he'd left behind there.
The sultan was yelling as he walked the plank,
I couldn't stop laughing as I saw he sank,
Now I lie on his bed and don't mind him.
