A few years ago,
A middle age woman sitting in my
Office said that she was 12 years old.
I've been on this earth for 55 years,
She haste in to explain, that's by calendar but my real age is 12.
Mystified I asked what she meant then she
And her husband gave me this remarkable history.
There were Paul and Audrey Braga britishes born and living in Hong
Kong, when Mrs Braga was told that she had pituitary gland disease
She was treated with xray,
But there had been some damage to brain tissue,
Resulting in slow mental activity and
Inability to communicate as previously.
A neuro surgeon had operated and corrected the condition to the
Extent that she had regain the ability to talk and read, however,
She seem to feel that her mental capacity while
Greatly improved was that of about a 12 year old.
Her manner as she talk was child like.
In a sweet engaging way,
But she reveal the certain mature perceptiveness.

She said, She unrolled some scrolls displaying several exquisite
Paintings in chinese style on long strips of paper
Back sealed as is the ancient customs in china and Japan.

Mr Braga answered proudly.
For 4 years after the operation in Hong kong,
Mrs Braga had been painfully aware of
Mental limitation and a sense of uselessness.
Then she had chance to see in the french magazine,
Some reproduction of the ancient chinese paintings.
The article had stayed to among other things that the
Art of the western world sets out to stimulate the senses.
Where as the art of china, seeks to stimulate the mind.
Here's just waht she needed, She had thought.
Something that will make her mind develop?
So she started painting in the chinese manner.
Her first effort took 5 months to complete,
She took some lessons begun creating designs of her own,
The amazing thing was no previous experience
But soon showed signs of outstanding talent.
