Looking through my hotel window In a third world country. Yes I'm looking through my hotel window In a third world country. The sun is shining the skies are blue And there's a cool breeze passing through. The plants are green it's a beautiful scene Seems like a nice place for human beings. But there's people on the streets, no shoes on their feet They gotta hustle to get a little food to eat. I know that things shouldn't be this way But what can I do, what can I say? There are oh so many problems And I wish that I could solve them. But even with inspiration, Right direction and good intention. No man is an island so won't somebody give a hand For the people in the third world. There's people on the streets, no shoes on their feet They gotta hustle to get a little food to eat. I know that things shouldn't be this way But what can I do what can I say?
