Warm, sun, shines, bright
Once in a while I look, over the fence I built
Seeing the grass that grows, watch how it waves and bends
Then I compare it to, what my odd neighbours do
Watering their plants all wrong, growing their grass too long
In the land of the warm warm sun
Shines, bright, lines, but, skips, what's, mine

Watching the kids, they play, in their own jolly way
Then I compare it to, what we all used to do
Playing more normal games, all having normal names
Oh what a pain, it's such a shame
That yesterday, has gone away
I have to oversee, continuing misery
Correcting when they are wrong, which won't be for too long

Going out for lunch, sleep in and make it brunch
Then I compare it to, what we all used to do
Eating more healthy meals, walking instead of wheels
Oh what a pain, it's such a shame
