Sometimes I feel as if I don't belong in this world When I try to fit in I sin and I Know that's not what God wants But it's just so much easier to Go along with the crowd And when I try to live God's way, I Feel like I'm missing out I am a stranger in this world It's not my home I'm waiting for something That's much better than we've ever known And even though it's hard to do what's right When my friends go the other way Jesus died then rose to life And I know he's coming back one day To take me away To my heavenly home Sometimes I feel as if I don't belong in this world. All my friends at school are cool and I Wish I was as well But even though it might seem their lives are The funnest way to live Living God's way is so much better cos You get to live it with him I am a stranger in this world It's not my home I'm waiting for something That's much better than we've ever known And even though it's hard to do what's right When my friends go the other way Jesus died then rose to life And I know he's coming back one day To take me away To my heavenly home Dear friends, I urge you as foreigners and Strangers in the world To abstain from sinful desires which War against your soul Live such good lives among the pagans, that Though they accuse you of wrong They may see your good deeds And glorify God on the day he returns I am a stranger in this world It's not my home I'm waiting for something That's much better than we've ever known And even though it's hard to do what's right When my friends tease and call me names Jesus died then rose to life And I know he's coming back one day To take me away To my heavenly home To my heavenly home To my heavenly home To my heavenly home
