Far away on the lonely isle of Patmos

John saw a time of great tribulation

He saw her towering walls made of jasper
On twelve foundations laid with precious stone
And then he saw a cool sparkling river
Flowing down from out of God's throne
He saw the saints in white garments standing
Upon a shiny golden avenue
And knowing this would be his home forever
John prayed, "Lord, even so, come soon"
When he saw new Jerusalem coming down
