Biography

The official Spotify channel of the electronic production duo known as Banyan. Blurring the boundary between organic and electronic music, Banyan’s signature sound is bound less by genre and more by the depth of feeling it evokes. Over the past few years, the deciduous duo has made quite a name for themselves working with major industry tastemakers, including remixing ‘Haunted’ by Grammy-nominated producer, Mild Minds, on ODESZA's acclaimed Foreign Family Collective. As their final offering of 2022, the duo had the honor of remixing ‘Lagoon’ by chill electronic veteran, Attom, and received support from Christian Löffler as well as extensive airtime on Sirius XMChill for their efforts. Kicking 2023 off with a bang, Banyan has already landed a #1 on HypeMachine for their remix of ‘Offshores’ by Koresma. In addition, their most recent single ‘Aura’, released on London-based Lilly Era garnered editorial support from Deezer on their official ‘chill house’ playlist. With plans for the most ambitious release schedule of their careers already in motion for 2023, Banyan is sure to keep making waves with their unique perspective on electronic music.
