Let my salutations be to the blue-throated one, Who has a thousand eyes. Salutations to him who is always black-haired, Who wears the sacred thread, to him the lord of the strong! Salutations to the lord of the universe, The shield against the phenomenal world. When the waters collide and boil When the skies fall apart When the blood desecrates the soil When the sins tear the heart I am here to release my wrath On the soil of the damned I am here to release my wrath Turning flesh into sand Hark! I am Mahadeva, master of the universe, I am Pashupati, lord of life Hark! I am Nataraja, I shall dance in eternal flame, Ending Kali Yuga with my Tandava When the breeze turns into a storm When the fires erupt When the heir to the throne is stillborn And the last king is corrupt I am here to release my wrath Upon the races of man I am here to release my wrath Let the cleansing begin Hark! I am Mahadeva, master of the universe, I am Pashupati, Lord of Life Hark! I am Nataraja, I shall dance in eternal flame, Ending Kali Yuga with my Tandava Salutations to him who protects the world by the might of His drawn bow, To rudra the destroyer of all miseries, to the lord of the fields And sacred places! Let him annihilate the enemies of mine, the rakshasas, Spirits and demons. O, Supreme lord! Protect us from all wordly troubles With the weapons and the bow in your hands! praise the reputed one, The dweller of the heart, the ever young one, terrible like a lion, The destroyer, the supreme one! let your hordes destroy our enemies!
