So, number 11 is "Next Year", which um, I wrote the guitar part first, um, and it's quite, it's in quite an unusual time signature and there's a lot of movement in that guitar part Um, so it was quite a challenge, enjoyable challenge, but challenge nonetheless, to get that syncopated vocal melody to sit over the top and work Um, it's kind of about the movement of time, and not feeling ready, kind of being thrown into it Wanting to stay kind of wrapped up in a womb-like state Um, and we actually struggled a bit in the studio with it I'd been playing it with my band a bit whilst we were on the road And there was a great drum part that George came up with and we wanted to try and capture that But actually when we took it into studio it just - it kind of sounded too polished So we just stripped it back and started again and Charlie had some congas and it calmed it down a bit Um, so it's always - it's always kind of fun and a little bit challenging when you come across something like that But I think it's all part of the journey
