In Memoirs is the moniker for the Danish singer and songwriter Morten Fillipsen. The dreamy, melancholy pop songs tells the stories of past experiences and memories - hence the name 'In Memoirs'. "This is music fit to make your heart burst, pop music at close to its very best" - The Line Of The Best Fit. In 2017 the critically acclaimed debut album 'Love, Dreams & Sunsets' was released, from which the single 'So You're Not Alone' was one of the most played on the national radio channel P4 that year. Through pop music’s many clichés, 'Love, Dreams & Sunsets' saluted the great emotions of the mid-twenties and the optimistic 'happy, go, lucky' approach to life. The album was about daring to live, learning to love and conquering the world. The sophomore album 'Hope, Fear & Fashion’ from 2020 is part two of a themed series of album releases. Now focusing on life in the early 30s and it’s more mature view of life. Optimism has been replaced by realism and a fear that time is passing making the dreams slip through your fingers. During the recording for the album Fillipsen was diagnosed with chronic hearing loss and tinnitus which has had an impact on the album's theme. Like the debut album, 'Hope, Fear & Fashion' was made in close collaboration with artist and producer Mads Björn
