Gold horizon burns remains of day
Red sun sets over dusty plains
Nile reflects its radiant rays
Last light of dusk fades away
Cool of evening the darkness falls
Upon Egypt and the people all
Will see His wonders in shock and awe
The Exodus is here
Soon you'll see bodies in the water and fire in the sky
For tonight, this night, will be the night of nights
After the plagues they fall, we will rise

When the first plague fell the river ran red
With crimson blood just as he said
I stood on the shore with staff in hand
I loosed the judgments on Pharaoh's land
When the second, third, and fourth plague fell
The frogs, and the gnats, and the flies did swell
Ravaging the people and the places they dwell
Devouring the crops and the land as well
When the fifth plague struck all the livestock died
As terror filled every Egyptian eye
But in Goshen the Hebrew animals were spared
Just as the Lord faithfully declared
When the sixth and the seventh plagues were sent
Boils broke out with hail like a torrent
Mingled with fire as the heavens were rent
Egypt buckled under heavy torment
When the eighth and the ninth plague they came
Locusts devoured all that remained
As darkness fell upon the windswept plains
Egypt braced for the final plague
When the tenth plague fell it was the worst of them all
At midnight a furious judgment did fall
Every firstborn in Egypt was slain
For Pharaoh hardened his heart again
Soon you'll see bodies in the water and fire in the sky
