I remember the, the week after you were born
And sharing with the world the news
That you had arrived via my Instagram
And uuhm, the influx of messages I received
That day in particular
Uhm, it was a lot – overwhelming at one point
But beautiful and encouraging
And a great remainder of how faithful
God had been up until that point
And how faithful He was going to be from that point
And then I got a message in my DM's
From a friend of mine and she was like
"Yo Trips, congratulations – this is amazing news
– Um, I feel like I can have someone to talk to..."
I was like. oh ok, what does that mean?
And then we spoke and then she told me that
She too was expecting under circumstances
Not to dissimilar from mine
And she was scared and she didn't know what she wanted to do
And she was thinking about her options
And after a very intense, real genuine heartfelt conversation
I looked at the situation and she looked at the situation
And she just took peace in the fact that God's
Got her and she didn't have to do anything she didn't have to do
And she went on to go and have a beautiful baby boy
And I share this story with you because of your, your life
And because of your arrival and because of your being
You not only saved a life, but you encouraged a life
And you impacted a life
And if that's not purpose, then I don't know what is
