Everyone has their own "treehouse," in a sense
I'm sure you can think of at least one object or place
That brings back numerous memories from your childhood
Mine is an old Hitachi box TV that sat in my living room
For most of my upbringing
I remember waking up at 6:00 in the morning before school every day
So I could watch cartoons like SpongeBob SquarePants
And Phineas and Ferb with my two little brothers
While we ate breakfast
We also had the original Xbox
That was hooked up to the same television
With games like Halo 2, 007 Nightfire, and Crash Bandicoot
And the three of us would always run over to the TV
And play those games together after school every day
These gaming sessions usually ended with our parents
Making us go outside and play or do homework
But we would always haggle
For a few extra minutes before we got off
I always had so much fun playing with them
And I value these memories greatly
Both the Hitachi TV and the Xbox have since been sold
But they have a permanent place in my mind
Because of how they brought me closer to my two little brothers
Dylan and Jack, thank you for all the fun times
