    Biography

    Buck the Taxidermist started out as pieces and parts of songs that have brewed in the mind of Kyle Ayres for several years before it became a bonafide group. 
 In 2015 while working with a string band, Kyle became more and more interested in looping and recording his own electric guitar driven music. While making and writing deeply personal music was important the way it was made was more important. After getting a few tracks down he released The Beginning as a solo project and maybe only work in February of 2017. Fast forward the band is compromised of some his closest friends, Blake Hester (guitar) whose rig is reminiscent of Ryan Adams, The War on Drugs and handfuls of chorus/reverb driven leads, Jacob Gahn (bass) who plays a very stripped down but proficient style influenced by The Police and most things funky, and Jacob Warren (drums) who plays very powerfully and is prone to throw in the complex fills you'd hear on an album.
