Biography

Brampton-native Sheldon Sabastian is a hip-hop recording artist whose music can best be described as the new classic sound. Bypassing the oversaturated market of basic trap beats and mumble rap, Sabastian is instead crafting a sound that perfectly blends infectious head-banging instrumentals with clever offhand wordplay that pleases both old and new school hip-hop lovers. 
 It’s only been a few years since his first solo release but Sabastian has been working at his craft since as early as 2005. What started out as something fun to do with his cousin soon grew into a newfound passion of his. His penmanship earned him a spot in a number of local rap groups before he eventually decided to go solo and release his ambitious first single, “Bank” produced by Ninety8 on Soundcloud in summer 2018. 
 Since then Sheldon Sabastian has gone on to release a handful of singles in response to the demands of his growing international fan base. By the end of 2019, Sabastian has gained over 40,000 monthly listeners on Spotify with fans everywhere from home in Canada to New York, Chicago and London, England. His most popular single “Blue Acura” has also amassed over 2,000,000 plays across all digital streaming platforms and counting.
