Tj’s debut track ‘CC2’ was released in early 2020 as the upcoming artist attempted to break into the music scene with his first drill-based song. Originally from South East London, Tj spent his time consistently writing and releasing new music eventually reaching over 20,000 monthly listeners until his private life intervened in June 2021. As a result, the rapper stopped being able to release music regularly which eventually led him to question whether he’d pick his music career back up or leave it for good…   7 months later, Tj made a return with his now most successful single, ‘Stay Happy’ a song that quickly gained traction and has since cleared a million streams. This helped to reinvigorate the young artist’s passion for music as he began to realise his potential within the new ‘sample drill’ genre thanks to its increasing appeal to the younger generation of listeners.   As of March 2023, Tj has worked with one of the UK’s most well-known drill & rap videographers, Matthewmkd, to put together his first-ever music video which has now been released on GRM Daily. Thanks to his willingness to invest time, effort and money into the promotion and production of his music, he continues to rack up bigger numbers. The rapper is now treating his most popular song ‘Stay Happy’ almost as if it was a new release in an effort to attract and reach more listeners with a professional level of promotion and videography in order to take his passion further and more seriously.
