Biography
"Chances are if I make music that I love, others will love it too" - Matt Giard. Having crafted music obsessively for over a decade, MATT GIARD finally cracked the formula. Inventing the perfect Rock/Pop/Alt/Hip-Hop/Punk Fusion, leaving his music unpredictable and captivating to the senses. Matt has always been told it's impossible to be a success stemming from a State known only for Lobster, Pine-Trees & Stephen King. He took that advice, left Maine, and moved to the palm tree coastline; in Los Angeles, California. The years in the city of angels were memorable, full of new experiences, love, and heartbreak. Eventually, however, it made him realize where his true home was; Maine. Having moved back to Maine, Matt is proving that anything is possible. His hit single "What Did We Do" sits over 2 Million Streams on Spotify, alongside C-Dot 416 collaboration song "Funk," now sitting at around 4.2 MILLION streams on Spotify. Matt gives every waking second to his family, friends, and most importantly, fans. His emotional connection to his music is awe-inspiring, filled with the entire spectrum of human experience, which shines through in every song. His Audio Engineer, John Zebley, experiences Matt's laughs, tears, and screams between notes in the studio. It's not just music to him; it's his lifeline. Fame or no fame it's all he knows how to do, and he will continue to put his soul into every record in the hope he can positively impact the life of even one person.
