Biography

Inspired by the bleak environment of their native Black Country, post-punk band Baudelaire explore the unlit corners of the human condition. Weaving gothic atmospheres together with industrial sonics and noise-rock fury, the six-piece delivers a unique style that is both unnerving and cathartic. Their first singles ‘Prayers’ and 'Lethe' earned the band praise from BBC Radio Introducing and landed them on This Feeling’s official “Best New Bands” selection list. Baudelaire’s third single ‘Facade' features production from the acclaimed Gavin Monaghan (Robert Plant, Ocean Colour Scene, and Paolo Nutini) of Magic Garden Recording Studios. This time embracing dark mechanical grooves and swirling synthesizers. Formed only in 2021, a reputation for chaotic live shows has already seen the band support established acts such as Cabbage, Crows, and Courting.
