Biography

In 1990, a known rap group called Spanish F.L.Y captured lightning in a bottle with their hit song "Soy I 8 With A Bullet", selling over 350,000 copies and making them an instant classic in Chicano culture. Before they could even capitalize on their newfound success, things started to fall apart Members of the group Ese Rich Rock. Ese Daz, Dj Tricks and Toker slipped into drug use, contracts and money drove wedges between the talent and management, and ultimately the small lick of success turned into a bad taste in their mouths. After all was said and done, the group recorded 1 album together called “Trust No Man”, but left a lasting impression on the landscape of hip hop selling over 500,000 units and paved the way for future generations of Chicano rappers. 25 years later; founding member Ese Daz along with Johnny D member of the second generation of Spanish FLY (Crimes of Agony) album”, have put together a new squad in 2020 with the additions of a seasoned vet MC; Mocs of Mexiclan.
