Ι Ω Α Ν Ν Α: Ioanna is a singer and songwriter based in Greece. Her music blends traditional motifs with electronic elements. Born and raised in Crete Island Ioanna Kavroulaki was soon influenced by the Cretan tradition. Her interest in music began at an early age as she attended the music school of Rethymno and then studied modern singing, classical piano and jazz music. She started singing professionally when she moved to Athens for studies and in 2017 she found herself playing in concerts with Vasilis Kazoulis touring all over Greece. Despite her young age, until now she has collaborated with many artists of the Greek music scene as a debutante, performing concerts in Greece and Cyprus. She has collaborated with the following artists: Vasilis Kazoulis, Dionysis Tsaknis, Yannis Zouganelis, Lakis Papadopoulos, Eleni Dimou, Kitrina Podilata, Yannis Kotsiras, Orestis Ntantos, Nikos Stratakis, Onirama and others. In the summer of 2020 she released her first ever single Topos Mystikos which is a neo-folk song written by Orestis Ntantos and was loved by the public. She then started the creation of her first personal album Yfanto which was presented to the public for the first time in January 2023 in the Stavros tou Notou music scene, in a festive live. Yfanto album released in March 20, 2023. Ioanna has performed in important concert venues, such as Technopolis of Athens, Mylos, Stavros tou Notou and numerous festivals with her band.
