Biography

We are Ulf and Åsa Nomark, members of the Swedish vocal duo NOMARK. We have made beautiful music together for more than 20 years—since we were kids, actually. Have a listen and you’ll hear inspiration from a variety of genres including pop, soul, gospel and inspirational. We truly love our work and welcome every opportunity to bring life, joy and energy to our fans through events and concerts all over the world. Born and raised on the West Coast of Sweden, we first met in 7th grade. Since childhood, we’d both been exploring our talents as singers and musicians. But joining forces allowed us to pursue the dream together. When we were both 13, we recorded our first professional track together. Two years later, our band, Lizard (!), debuted We Will Never Meet Again on Swedish national radio. We’ve led a gospel choir together and recorded with several professional Gospel Choirs. To date, we’ve recorded over 10 albums together, including Common Ground, a lively pop offering with touches of gospel and choir mixed in. In addition to our amazing life on stage, we’ve made an incredible life off stage together. Married for many years, we’re raising two great children. And when we’re not singing, we love spending time as a family—traveling, eating great food and just relaxing with our adorable dogs and cats.
