Biography

JP®, born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, has always had a knack for music. JP loves bringing words to life, and he does so by creating captivating songs that tell a story in a catchy manner. JP first got into music at the age of fourteen, writing songs in order to express himself. He instantly fell in love and it became a passion for him soon after. Fast forward to age seventeen, and he got a microphone for his computer to begin recording music at home. After practicing and getting the hang of it for two years, he started recording at MCM studios in the heart of Pittsburgh, PA in late 2019 with his first amateur studio song being "Go Back". A few songs in and he was ready to record his first EP, which would be released on his 20th birthday on October 19, 2020. After the launch of his first EP, 'The Good in Goodbye', he would take a two year break, finding himself mentally and musically. He would come back to music in early 2022 recording with ID Labs and on April 15, 2022, he released his second EP "LATE // NIGHT", which has already amassed 25,000 streams and earned him a Lyrical Lemonade article.
