Biography
Hailing from Perth, Ukiyo first gained recognition with the release of his debut EP & single ‘Calling’. 2018 saw him reach new heights with chart-topping single ‘Something Like This’ and the accompanying ‘Fantasy’ EP, which led to a successful national headline tour. In the busy years since, Ukiyo has released a debut album to international acclaim, two instrumental mixtapes, and ‘Midnight Sun’, a collaboration with Atlanta-based OTR that notably featured in Forza Horizon and the Netflix film ‘To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You’ as well as their star-studded 2022 Movie Preview campaign that premiered at the Super Bowl that year. With over 64 million global streams and a laundry list of sync deals, including major brands American Eagle, Microsoft, Volkswagen, Ripcurl, HBO, and Netflix, it’s no surprise his music has managed to capture such a wide audience.
