Biography

While famed for the global smash 'Sandstorm', Darude's long and successful career has seen him release four studio albums, earn a string of awards and multi-platinum discs, and perform at festivals and club shows in over 70 countries around the world. A testament to his status as an international artist within the electronic music scene. With a style that is a mixture of progressive and uplifting trance and house, fused with elements of techno and breaks, Darude's music delivers dynamic dancefloor energy. Hailed by DJ Magazine as "Finland's biggest musical export", Darude has performed at festivals and events worldwide, including Ministry of Sound, Exchange LA, Parookaville, Radio 1's One Big Weekend, Groove Cruise, Dreamstate SoCal, Weekend Festival Baltic, and Tomorrowland. His music has also led him to headline TwitchCon several times.
