Their songs feature infectious hooks, melodic vocals and mordant, emotionally charged lyrics. Their wide-ranging influences include The Wonder Years, Paramore, Tiny Moving Parts and Ted Leo as well as Britpop bands like Elastica and Suede or punk icons like X-Ray Spex and Siouxsie & the Banshees. The lineup is Vikki Vera (vocals, lyrics), Allie Hunt (guitar), Quinn Endicott (bass), and Jen Campbell (drums). The first PET ME gig was at a house open mic in 2019. Since then, PET ME’s profile and audience sizes have steadily grown as word gets around about their banger live shows. They’ve shared stages with bands like Screaming Females, Sidney Gish, She/Her/Hers, Spanish Love Songs, Frontier Ruckus, Grey Matter, Rent Strike and more. In February 2020, PET ME released their self-titled debut EP, recorded and mixed by Nick LaForge and mastered by Floyd Audio. They released the single “Ghost” in winter 2022, and their new EP “Abomination” is slated for release this fall.
