Biography

Mistral is a post black metal project founded in Warsaw, Poland, circa 2019. Currently consisting of two members, both having embarked on a career in music while still highschool students. To date, Mistral has a debut album, Somnifer, and a number of demos under its belt. In 2021, Somnifer was released on cassette tapes in a limited run of 50 copies through Folkvangr Records. The project's second full-length, In the Throes of Losing Love, was released on April 28th through Onism Productions, Folkvangr Records and SnowWolf Records. Being somewhat darker in tone, the record expands upon the lyrical themes found on Somnifer, approaching them from a point of more understanding, instead of the previous, more naive and superficial approach. Local live events are planned for the summer months.
